Turbotechnology Services Corporation (TSC) offers Shop and Field Balancing services. Our balancing service starts with staff engineers that understand rotating equipment and experienced technicians that strive for the lowest unbalance possible. We are familiar with API, the Navy Balance Specification and other industry standards. We have experience with high speed motor balancing, paper industry high speed roll balancing, regenerative compressor rotor balancing and we are experts at balancing over-hung rotor assembles such as those used in integrally geared compressors.

Our in shop balancing is done using hard bearing balance machines. We use American Hofmann balance machines. We have 3 machines that give us the capability to balance parts and rotor assemblies that fall within the following dimensions at our Scotia, New York facility.
